Our history

Established in Luton since 2012, Alexander Bennett Solicitors is a specialist criminal defence law firm, headed by leading partners Mary Tmaira and Fariquain Shah.

With decades of legal experience and solid reputations as formidable defence advocates, Mary and Fariquain quickly built the firm into one of the most respected criminal defence law firms in the Southeast, known for incisive action, clear guidance and exceptional case outcomes.

Since those early days, our client base has grown significantly and now extends across the whole of the Southeast and beyond, with a new office opened in Leighton Buzzard at the end of 2022. With years of experience under our belts, we are regularly involved in serious and high-profile cases, representing clients from all walks of life, both privately and through Legal Aid.
